The ideal candidate should have a working knowledge of business operations and sales and marketing or be partnered with someone who does. We are looking for strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to excellent customer service. We are passionate about our product, our ideal franchisee would care about coffee and be familiar with distinctions in roast, origin, and brewing methodology
Do I need cafe/cooking experience?
For our cafes, we prefer operators with food & beverage experience. We provide comprehensive training and support to set you up as a full-service cafe;, however, if you lack relevant experience, we may ask you to find a General Manager with that background.
How will the coffee, food, and supplies for my Bean Bastard franchise be sourced?
We maintain relationships with local and national food distributors who carry all menu items and supplies, to ensure authentic, consistent, and quality food and beverage at all locations.
How do I find a location for my cafe?
We will set you up with criteria to narrow down your search and open you up to our network of realtors to help you determine the best spot.
Will Bean Bastard assist with the design and build-out of my brick and mortar location?
Yes. We will provide detailed guidance to achieve the established aesthetic and functionality of our flagship location. Bean Bastard Franchising, LLC may also refer you to a contractor who has built other Bean Bastard Coffee businesses, who would have an awareness of our specific requirements.
Will Bean Bastard require purchase of equipment and supplies from the franchisor or designated supplier?
Yes. To ensure quality and consistency across locations, franchisees must purchase all food & beverage, equipment, and supplies from our designated suppliers.
